Policy and Impact

This includes the development and continuous refinement of:

• • A Theory of Change that captures the logic of how each team’s activities map to specific goals

  • Regular data collection practices, which allow us to present and analyze each team’s work

  • Key Distinguishers, which identify best practices in each team’s area of work and provide programmatic guidance in the form of a rubric

  • Case studies that offer examples of practice

  • Policy agendas that recommend how the practices of each team can be scaled more broadly through new investments and policy changes

This area of work includes the development and/or refinement of:

2. • Publications for external audiences, including research and advocacy materials, all of which aims to increase support from a range of HERE to HERE and WBL audiences

   • Development of Key Distinguisher: research-based materials, tested in our demonstration projects, that identify best practices in the core areas of work-based learning

   • Other materials for use in advocacy activities

This area of work includes:

• • Meeting with elected officials and policymakers, as well as potential advocacy partner organizations, coalitions, networks, and other stakeholders

  • Hosting and attending events where we can voice the case for change in policy and investment.
